EDUCATION
CHEDER A small cheder class meets every couple of weeks or so, with tuition covering covering both Hebrew and topics of general Jewish interest. The older children can prepare for bar/bat mitzvah. FURTHER EDUCATION Children are encouraged to pursue their studies for kabbalat torah (confirmation). ADULT EDUCATION There are monthly adult education sessions taken by the rabbi either on a Friday evening or a Saturday morning depending upon when the Shabbat service falls. HEBREW A self-help group meets every couple of weeks or so, to accquire a basic knowledge of prayerbook Hebrew. |
