NEWSLETTER FEBRUARY 2005 - NOTICEBOARD WELCOME Welcome to Sarah Boosey who joins the PJCEA as a Full MemberCONGRATS Congratulations to Daisy Lees on the birth of a baby girl, born at home on 19 January and weighing in at 9lb 4oz. Both mother and daughter are doing fine. Madeline, how does it feel to be a grandma? Ed AGM The Annual General Meeting will take place on 21 March, 7.30 pm at the home of Oliver Frankl. Over the last few years the AGMs have been held in the Peill Room suitably inhospitable with turnouts to prove it. We plan to change all that. At Olivers there will be drinks and nibbles and, with the formal business out of the way, we hope to see the evening develop into a social occasion JOAN GOODMAN LECTURE The Joan Goodman Memorial Lecture is to take place at the Synagogue, Earlham Road on Saturday June 18th. Details to follow. The Progressive Jewish Community of East Anglia and the Norwich Hebrew Congregation last year agreed to set up a Standing Joint Committee, to organize the annual Joan Goodman Memorial Lecture. Committee members are Stella Koenick and Byron Simmonds for the PJCEA, Maureen and Barry Leveton and Peter Prinsley for the NHC Ed LIBRARY BOOKS Members and Friends of the PJCEA are encouraged to borrow any title held.
