I liked this book because it was written as if the events were happening right in front of you. It shows what things were like in Poland in WW2 for Jewish and non-Jewish people. It is a very sad book but definitely worth reading. I would give this book 5 out of 5 marks and recommend it to people over 9. ("Once" is published by Puffin Books, 2006) LIBRARY BOOKS Members and Friends of the PJCEA are encouraged to borrow any title held. For a complete list, check out the website. Or have a word with Kathy Worsencroft (email k.worsencroft@btinternet.com) If you have any PJCEA library books on loan which are not doing anything much, now is the time to return them to the library (I know who you are!
