LIBERAL JUDAISM’S BIENNIAL WEEKEND 4-6 APRIL 2008
“Creation & Creativity”

Our Biennial Weekend is fast approaching. With exciting speakers and our “musician in residence” Judith Silver, this year’s Biennial promises to be an exciting and stimulating one. Do take advantage of our early bird booking period until 31 January for the best rates.

Our theme this year, “Creation and Creativity”, has produced a wide range of exciting workshops led by a number of our movement’s Rabbis as well as members of our communities. Whether you are interested in the arts or the sciences or both, there will be something here for you. Our workshop topics will include Jewish music, music by Jews, calligraphy, parashat poetry, art as an expression of our spiritual lives, chanting, end of life issues, medical ethics, ethics of food production and many more. Participants will be able to sign up in advance for their desired workshops and the complete list will be available soon.

We will also take this opportunity for an early celebration of Israel’s 60th Anniversary.

We will enjoy the superb facilities of The Tortworth Court Hotel, Wotton-under-Edge near Bristol. All parts of the hotel are fully accessible and there are a number of rooms available for those with disabilities. If you have not attended a Biennial Weekend before, do come and join us. Don’t miss this opportunity to renew old acquaintances and make new friends by learning, talking, singing and praying together.

Check our website for further information www.liberaljudaism.org/biennial. Pick up your booking form from your community today or download it from the biennial website as above. The early bird booking period expires 31 January, so register today!
