NEWSLETTER JULY 2008 JEWISH NORWICH WALKABOUT
Maureen and Barry Leveton of the Norwich Hebrew Congregation led a walking tour of Jewish Norwich on Sunday, July, 6th. Meeting at the Earlham Road Synagogue, the walkabout took in most of the City's Jewish sites. There were more than 30 on the tour, which raised £155 for Magen David Adom. Magen David Adom is Israel's national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service. It is officially recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross as the national aid society of the state of Israel under the Geneva Conventions, and is a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
